Application
Pelton Water Wheel Turbine are used in high-head, low-flow hydraulic environments, so hydropower stations are located in remote mountainous areas. Dams are built to store water in mountain creeks. The water is delivered to the open channel through the dam, and the water flows through the mountains for several kilometers or more than ten kilometers to reach the front pond of the power station. An overflow weir is set near the front pond. When the output of the turbine decreases and the channel water supply is too late to adapt, the excess water is discharged through the overflow weir. Open the front pool gate, the water flows through the penstock, the main valve of the turbine, and enters the nozzle of the turbine.
